Words from Our Contributing Conversationists
Trailblazing Innovative Sustainability Worldwide
  • Karina Radchenko
PAIS Founder, Master of International Economic Relations & Law, Ukraine
"We as humans are all in one boat, interconnected and interdependent. So, it is very important that people from one part of the globe care about what is happening in other parts and vice versa. It is vital to apply common sustainable thinking and cooperative models together, learning and discovering each other, co-creating solutions, appreciating our diversity while seeing humanity as one big family".
  • Councillor Martin Fodor
Bristol City Councillor, Green Party Member, UK
"For me, innovation starts with the integration of social, economic and environmental issues. An approach that tries to maximize well-being, not just one issue, one environmental issue or one economic issue. So, it is about being joined up and it is about genuinely change because the interaction of social, economic and environmental initiatives leads to deeper change."
  • Chineyenwa Okoro-Onu
World Economic Forum Global Shaper, Social Entrepreneur, Ghana
"We as young people are taking steps every single day to find solutions and sometime our solutions are not scalable because of the current policies. We should be encouraging the world leaders to enable young people. Listen to us when we speak, utilize our ideas, our innovations, which would be beneficial to all of us in the end!"
  • Jelena Drenjanin
Member of the European Committee of the Regions, Member of a Local Assembly of Huddinge Municipality, Sweden

  • Councillor John Alexander

  • Karen Melchior

"We need to keep fighting for a better world because nobody else is gonna do it. And even though we only as individuals perhaps moved the world forward a little bit in a better direction, at least, we are not letting the world stand still. So keep trying, keep working!".

  • Harald Sonderegger
President of the Vorarlberg State Parliament, Austria
"Behind the SDGs, there is a very inspiring vision. We have to embrace this ambition and work towards reaching the SDGs in a joint effort of all levels. This includes increasing public awareness and knowledge of these issues. If it is our vision to leave no one behind, we all have to work together to achieve sustainability for the future, especially for the next generation. "
  • Gift Chansa
